Neighbor Guard Security LLC (d/b/a NeighborGuard Security) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website. We are based in New Jersey.

2. What We Collect

When you use this website or contact us, we may collect:

Contact information you provide: name, email, phone number, property association name, role/title
Inquiry content: the message you send us, documents you share for a free Board Security Snapshot, audit-related materials you share under engagement
Website analytics: standard Squarespace analytics including pages visited, time on site, and source (referral, search, direct). We do not currently use third-party advertising trackers.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use information you provide only to:

Respond to your inquiry
Deliver any audit, Snapshot, Board Protection File™, or consulting service you engage us for
Communicate with you about your engagement
Maintain internal records of work performed

We do NOT:

Sell your information
Share your information with marketing partners
Use your information for advertising targeting
Share property-specific information with vendors or third parties

4. Client Confidentiality

For active client engagements, all property-specific information, vendor contract terms, incident details, resident information, and audit findings are treated as strictly confidential. We default to anonymizing client and property names in any public-facing content (case studies, marketing, newsletters) unless the client provides explicit written permission for full attribution.

5. Cookies

This website uses standard Squarespace cookies for site functionality and basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

6. Data Retention

We retain client engagement records for seven (7) years from delivery, consistent with standard business and tax record practices. Initial inquiries that do not become engagements are retained for up to two (2) years and then deleted.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you by emailing omar@neighborguardsecurity.com. We will respond within thirty (30) days.

8. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable safeguards to protect information you provide, including encrypted email transmission for sensitive documents and limited access to client files.

9. Children

This website is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be noted on this page.
