NeighborGuard Security was founded by Omar Lorenzo to give HOA, condo, and multifamily boards in New Jersey what they rarely get: a neutral, non-vendor view of what the security their community pays for shows in the records and on the property.

Our Independence
NeighborGuard Security is an independent third-party security audit firm. We do not sell, install, monitor, or staff guards, cameras, access control, or patrol services. We do not accept referral fees from any vendor we audit.
We do not partner with security vendors in ways that create financial incentive to recommend their services. We work for the community that hires us, not for any vendor. What you get is the documented finding, never a sales pitch for the next product.
This independence is structural, not aspirational. It is the reason we exist.

Why we built this
NeighborGuard Security was built on a simple observation: there is a gap between what a security vendor report says and what residents actually experience after dark.
Communities spend real money on security and often get thin reports, recycled logs, and 45-minute arguments in return. Nobody has one clear file that shows what was checked, what was found, and what the leadership chose to do about it.
We built a documented system to close that gap: standardized intake, structured day and night audits, and a 12-document packet format that keeps every file consistent, clear, and ready for a leadership meeting.
We are not a patrol company looking for a contract. We are an independent oversight firm that exists to protect the decision group and its records.
